Duties Include:
- Complete clear, timely assessments of children and families in line with the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation
- Develop focused plans that promote safety, stability and positive outcomes for children and young people
- Act to safeguard children, taking appropriate steps to reduce risk and protect their welfare
- Work closely with families, schools, health and other agencies to provide coordinated support
- Ensure the child's voice is heard and their rights are promoted in all decision-making
- Review and update plans regularly to reflect children's changing needs and progress
- Meet statutory duties and follow best practice in safeguarding and care planning
Requirements:
- 2 years experience post qualification
- Action safeguarding procedures
