This role offers a supportive environment to grow, with initial high supervision for new practitioners and increasing autonomy as you gain experience.What You’ll Do:Manage Cases: Oversee a caseload of varying complexity, conducting assessments, planning interventions, and preparing reports.Collaborate: Work closely with health services, schools, and other agencies to support children and families.Record & Report: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of cases in line with county procedures.Develop Professionally: Participate in ongoing training to meet the standards set by the Social Care Capability Framework.About You:Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalent; registration with Social Work England.Skills: Excellent communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development, attachment theory, and the Children Act. Familiar with Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection frameworks.Experience: Relevant experience working within Children’s Services.
