We work with many schools across Ashford and would love to find you your next education-based role!SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and other developmental or behavioural challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include working one-on-one with students or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum, develop key skills, and achieve their individual learning goals.You will assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the specific needs of SEN students, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and included in classroom activities. Additionally, you will monitor student progress, document observations, and provide feedback to teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents. Building strong, trusting relationships with the students you support will be essential, as well as implementing behaviour management strategies where required. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.
