We are looking for a passionate SEN English Teacher to empower our students to achieve their full potential through tailored educational programs and a supportive community.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support diverse learning styles.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Must be a driver!
- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in an English teaching capacity.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
