Manpower is looking for an enthusiastic Oral Care Laboratory Technician to join a global company in Ashford. If you have a passion for science, enjoy working in a hands-on lab environment, and want to be part of exciting flavour innovations, this role is for you.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Hands-on Lab Work: Prepare and compound oral care flavours for toothpaste, mouthwash, and other products.
  • Quality & Precision: Follow predefined formulas, ensure accurate measurements, and maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Stock Management: Keep track of raw materials, monitor expiry dates, and assist in stock replenishment.
  • Testing & Recording: Conduct physical and chemical measurements and record data accurately.
  • Team Collaboration: Support flavourists and lab teams with various trials, paperwork, and sample dispatches.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised lab environment following EH&S policies.


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous laboratory experience is essential.
  • A background in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or similar science-related subjects.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Good organisation and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and willingness to learn lab systems like SAP).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A basic ability to differentiate oral care flavours by taste is a plus but not essential.
