Freightserve are looking to recruit a White Glove Van Driver / Handler. The role is working for a niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Ashford, Middlesex area.
Main purpose of job:
We are seeking a reliable, van driver/handler that has previous experience in handling White Glove Shipments. They will be responsible for the safe and secure collection and delivery of shipments, including packing, installation and all paperwork relating to the items.
Main duties
- Collection and delivery in and around Central London areas and Nationally across the UK - occasional abroad trips
- Packing items, loading, moving and unloading items safely for transport
- Installation of items at client premises
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- Adhering to Health and Safety at all times
- Ad hoc general warehouse duties
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Van Driver/Handler or similar role
- Full UK driving license - maximum of 3 points
- Previous white glove experience
- Previous packing experience
- IT literate
- Physically fit
- Keen attention to detail and professional approach
