Head of Supply Chain - UK & EMEA

About the Role:
As the Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee logistics, procurement, inventory, demand planning, and supplier relationships. Reporting directly to the Global Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning supply chain strategies with overarching business goals and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the UK & EMEA regions.
- Lead initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Build and maintain robust supplier relationships across the region.
- Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with regional customs and trade regulations.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Drive accurate demand forecasting and inventory optimisation.
- Implement advanced tools and technologies to streamline planning.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Compliance & Sustainability
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
- Integrate sustainability practices into supply chain operations.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally within UK & EMEA markets.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems and supply chain digital transformation.
Skills & Expertise
- Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and compliance.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance.
