We are seeking a proactive and versatile Tax Semi Senior to join our dynamic tax department. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities, from managing tax-related correspondence to direct client communication and completing tax returns. The successful candidate will handle a diverse portfolio of approximately 250 clients, ensuring all their tax needs are met efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and respond to all tax-related correspondence efficiently.
- Maintain direct communication with clients to address and resolve their tax queries.
- Complete tax returns accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and guidelines.
- Utilise Iris accounting software to manage client data and process tax documents.
- Work with various bookkeeping software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, FreeAgent, and KashFlow to maintain accurate financial records.
- Proven experience in a tax role, preferably within a dynamic tax department.
- Strong proficiency in Iris accounting software, especially the personal tax module.
- Familiarity with common bookkeeping software including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, FreeAgent, and KashFlow.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage a large portfolio of clients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
