About The RoleSummary & Purpose of the RoleThe main purpose of the job is to support the running of the cleaning team operation, waste management, and when required to assist the wider cleaning team.You will be working Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 to 19:00, 15 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibility would be to maintain waste management on site, collecting and disposing of waste from our retailers, food and beverage outlets and mall bins.

  • Collection of waste
  • Compactor use and waste segregation
  • Empty and clean bins
  • Re-stocking equipment
  • Use PDA system to assist with scheduled cleaning tasks, accident and incident control
  • To ensure all work is carried out in a safe, proper and thorough manner taking into account Health and safety legislation, OCS policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
  • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • Maintaining a good relationship with stores
  • Be familiar with the required cleaning standards and regulations governing your job role
  • Maintain polite and good communication with you colleagues, brand partners and shoppers at all times
  • Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required.
  • Assisting with other cleaning and site duties where required

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working and building partnerships with clients
  • Waste management
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • Experience of working within a fast moving Cleaning environment
  • Articulate and has the ability to communicate effectively with the clients and colleagues
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of high quality service delivery and their impact on this
  • The ability to be agile and flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role
  • Excellent time management organisation and focus on ability to prioritise and multi-task with clear ability to focus on detail
