Prep Technician/Paint Sprayer - Ashford

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + £2,000 incentive paid after 6 months of serviceWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00Friday: 07:00 - 15:00Saturdays: Optional (All overtime is paid)

Our client is seeking a fully trained Prepper/Painter to join their already successful motor trade team in Ashford, working within a busy prestige main car dealership. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines, and have the ability to use your own initiative.

Prep Technician/Paint Sprayer Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for spraying.
  • Mix paint to ensure a perfect match.
  • Spray painting vehicles.
  • Quality check on completion, ensuring there are no defects.
The Ideal Prep Technician/Paint Sprayer:
  • ATA or equivalent qualification is an advantage, though not essential.
  • Must hold a City & Guilds qualification or time-served equivalent.
  • Several years’ experience gained within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.

You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy motor trade environment and be motivated by set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.
