My client in Ashford, Kent is seeking an experienced PDI Inspector / Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance & repair and a passion for ensuring vehicles are delivered in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on a wide range of vehicles, including new and used cars and vans.
- Identify and address any defects or damage found during inspections.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable before delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and repairs performed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a PDI Inspector & Vehicle Technician.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full Valid UK driving license.
