Overview

We are seeking an available Electrical Lecturer to join a well known Ashford based educational organisation on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will ideally have background in teaching or lecturing and a deep understanding of Electrical Installations.

£40 to £65/hour, holiday accrued, weekly paid, reduced parking and on street parking. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week.

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inclusive and up-to-date content, lesson planning and scheme of works
  • Delivering Electrical Installations Level 2 and 3 (T Level)
  • Provide support and guidance to students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, to facilitate their success in the field.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification level 3 or higher.
  • Prior experience in teaching or lecturing would be ideal however if you do not have any teaching experience but have a passion for sharing your knowledge, then this will still be considered.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
