Overview

We are seeking an available Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a well known Ashford based educational organisation until the end of term

£25.00 to £30.00/hour, holiday accrued, weekly paid, reduced parking and on street parking. Monday to Friday 18.5 hours per week.

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inclusive and up-to-date content, lesson planning and scheme of works
  • Delivering Health & Social Care levels 2 and 3
  • Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their success in the field.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

  • Health & Social Care qualifications at a minimum of level 3
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, LST)
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

  • Experience within Health & Social Care sector.
  • Experience planning and delivering health & social care lessons to post 16 learners.
  • Experience of NCFE/BTEC qualification delivery
