Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Salary: £75-£110 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract type: Daily Supply, Long Term
GSL Education are looking for a committed Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Ashington. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting students in their learning journey. If you have a background in working with children, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a primary-aged student, providing tailored support to meet their unique learning needs. You will play a vital role in helping the student engage with the curriculum and build confidence in their abilities.
Key Responsibilities for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant Include:
- Providing individualised support to a student with specific learning needs.
- Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning plans.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills.
- Collaborating with teachers to ensure the student’s needs are met.
Requirements for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, understanding approach.

- Have the right to work in the UK.

- Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
