An ‘Good’ secondary school in Ashington is looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join their supportive and forward thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment. The main duties will include:
- Planning, teaching and assessing the DT curriculum
- Ordering resources and materialsÂ
- Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
- Promoting independence
- Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status
- Have a degree in subject area
- Be passionate about their subject area
- ECT’s are welcome
- Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- A full checkable work history
