About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our multidisciplinary team in Ashington. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, enabling them to manage their conditions within their own homes and local community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments, plan, and deliver care to meet the individual needs of our service users
- Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis support, and medication management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure a holistic approach
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
- Offer emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families
- Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with NMC registration
- Experience: Prior experience in community mental health or similar role is desirable
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to improving mental health and supporting recovery in a community setting
