About the Role
As a Male PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physical education to students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cover various aspects of physical education, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of PE Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physical Education.
- Teach a range of sports and physical activities to students in Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16).
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards in physical education.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in physical education.
Requirements of Male PE Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards in physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
