About the Maintenance Technician Role
As Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Bias, you will be maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure continued manufacturing, performing all tasks within the ISO (Apply online only) Quality Management, H&S and environmental systems. The role will cover both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
Other responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include:

Installation of new production equipment.

Planned and reactive maintenance of production equipment and site facilities.

Delivering production processes that are appropriate for the manufacturing environment, and that meet manufacturing objectives.

Conforming to procedures that are compliant to ISO, GMP and all other applicable agency regulations and standards.

Communicate opportunities to develop most efficient processes.

Support the Engineering Manager with plant projects as required.
About You
You will have previous experience in a similar Maintenance Technician role with a Mechanical Bias and some knowledge of Electrical engineering, preferably with experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology environment.
Other requirements include:

A strong understanding of machine operation and production processes.

Thorough knowledge of ISO quality systems, validation principles for manufacturing processes and statutory facility requirements.

Experience with statistical techniques (e.g., DOE, SPC, Six Sigma problem solving).
