The job you will do:

  • You will be working as part of a production team performing manufacturing functions of welding and assembly in accordance with the relevant standards and any other standards which may apply to these functions.
  • Typically, the welding of various engineered products fabricated with thin gauge aluminium alloys.
  • This will include complex fillet welds and tube welding
  • Working to rigid quality standards, producing high quality welded components.

About you:

  • Extensive experience of TIG welding on aluminium alloys is essential
  • Ideally you will be a time served or coded welder
  • You will ideally come from a fabrication or engineering background.
  • You must have a strong ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Applicants will be required to undertake a weld test, with successful candidate undertaking the relevant coding qualification.
