In this role you will lead the safety & risk team, ensuring high performance across the division, supporting career development of engineers and growing the team in line with company needs. You will also carry out safety, risk and reliability assessments for clients and facilitate workshops in the UK and internationally. The role will be hybrid, based in Surrey with some travel required.

This position would suit a principal technical safety & risk engineer or leader within the oil & gas sector looking for the opportunity to build and drive a division.

The Role:

  • Lead, build and develop the Safety & Risk division
  • Oil & Gas and Renewable Projects
  • Build and develop new business opportunities within new and emerging markets
  • Writing technical proposals / risk assessments
  • Lead HAZOP / HAZID workshops for clients
  • Hybrid / Flexible working

The Person:

  • Proven technical risk and safety background within Oil & Gas
  • Experience of leadership / managing a team / mentoring others
  • HAZOP / HAZID / SIL Experience
  • Flexible to travel internationally when required
