A forward thinking refurbishment and fit-out specialist who have been established for 50 years specialising in airport, commercial office, leisure and hospitality and residential sectors.The team's expertise and commitment to understanding the client's requirements ensure they deliver excellence with every project, they have built a reputation for reliability, accountability and quality.

Due to successful client relationship lasting over 30 years they have 10+ projects in both Heathrow and Gatwick ranging in value from 100k-2m. They are now lookin g for mulitple experiecnced Site Managers with airside passes to work on project in Heathrow and Gatwick, their are opportunities in both airports.

Overview:

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Site Manager to assist the Project Manager in overseeing airside fit-out projects valued between 100k and 2m. With over 10 concurrent projects involving commercial offices, VIP lounges, and waiting areas, the successful candidate must hold valid airside passes and have a robust understanding of airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Oversight: Assist the Project Manager in executing and coordinating multiple airside fit-out projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

- Site Management: Supervise daily site operations, managing subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.

- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, ensuring all work meets established standards and contractual obligations.

- Safety Leadership: Enforce health and safety protocols on-site, conducting safety briefings and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and airport requirements.

- Schedule Monitoring: Support the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress across multiple sites, and addressing any delays or issues promptly.

- Effective Communication: Act as a liaison between site personnel and the Project Manager, facilitating clear communication and reporting on project status and site conditions.

- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, incident reports, and change order requests, and assist in preparing progress reports for stakeholders.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with airside operational standards and regulations, working closely with airport authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of site management or construction supervision experience, particularly in airport fit-out projects or similar environments.

- Airside Passes: Must possess valid airside passes and have a thorough understanding of airside operational requirements.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements related to airside operations.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Certifications: Relevant safety and health certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are a plus.
