We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, with the furthest drop off being in Scotland. The position requires no more than 3 points on your driver's license.Responsibilities include driving a van and delivering goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner. You will need to plan delivery routes and ensure that all deliveries are made on time. Loading and unloading goods from the van safely is also part of the role, along with completing delivery paperwork and invoices accurately. It's essential to maintain the van in good working condition, reporting any issues or faults immediately. Following all traffic laws and regulations is crucial to ensure the van is operated safely at all times. Additionally, providing excellent customer service, interacting with clients politely and professionally, is expected.Maintaining a clean and tidy van, ensuring it is presentable at all times, is also required.Requirements for the position include a full, clean driver's license with no more than 3 points. Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred. Good knowledge of road safety and traffic laws and regulations is necessary, along with the ability to plan delivery routes efficiently and effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers professionally and courteously are essential. Being able to lift and carry heavy items is also required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required, is necessary. Good time management and organizational skills are also important.The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.00-18.00 with overtime when necessary.
