Their offerings range from recycled packaging to reconditioning, reuse, and recycling, delivering large-scale sustainability solutions for companies worldwide. The RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Site Supervisor/Maintenance Technician to manage the day-to-day operations of their manufacturing facility. This role will involve overseeing production processes, managing maintenance activities, and supervising staff to ensure efficient operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the central engineering and safety teams to uphold standards across the site. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of production machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., high-pressure pumps, conveyors, shredders).
  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule.
  • Train and oversee workers, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Record and track maintenance activities.
  • Assist with installation of new production systems and manage maintenance budget.
  • Ensure site remains in good repair and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and general maintenance systems.
  • Familiarity with tools, appliances, and maintenance best practices.
  • PLC experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to supervise and train staff.
  • Valid UK driving license (required).
