About the teaching assistant Role:

  • Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Focus: Supporting pupils who are behind their expected age range, of lower ability, or have special educational needs.
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions under teacher guidance.
  • Encouraging pupils' engagement in lessons and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Providing emotional and academic support to help pupils develop their confidence and skills.
  • Commitment to five full days a week is essential.
