Our client is an award winning, independent family-owned manufacturing company. On their behalf, we are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy team.

The Job

  • Maximising plant up time and minimise plant down time.
  • Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects
  • Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults
  • Providing technical support to all departments ensuring safe and efficient maintenance
  • Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, issuing permits to work and supervising engineering contractors
  • Designing, building, and commissioning control system upgrades and plant improvement projects
  • Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations and portable appliances
  • Organising and supervising planned work
  • With experience working in a fast-paced environment you will be familiar with three phase equipment, inverters, and industrial machinery.

In addition, you'll need the following:

  • Hold previous experience working within a large site building, ideally within a manufacturing / industrial environment.
  • PLC and controls Knowledge
  • 17th / 18th edition
  • Ideally have a strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, ideally with relevant qualifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH (Preferred)

Hours of Work are 7am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 1pm Friday

In return the company offers a very competitive salary circa £40,000 per annum + overtime along with secure and interesting employment.
