The business is a historic animal and livestock feed manufacturer who have centuries of experience within its field.You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers who will be responsible for all electrical maintenance, installations, upgrades and breakdowns.Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a large manufacturing
  • BS 7671 18th edition wiring regulation
  • BS 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • Must be familiar with the industrial environment

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities

  • Maximising plant up time and minimise plant down time.
  • Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects
  • Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults
  • Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, issuing permits to work and supervising engineering contractors
  • Designing, building, and commissioning control system upgrades and plant improvement projects
  • Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations and portable appliances
  • Organising and supervising planned work.
