Our client is an award winning, independent family-owned manufacturing company. On their behalf, we are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy team.

The Job

Maximising plant up time and minimise plant down time.

Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects

Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults

Providing technical support to all departments ensuring safe and efficient maintenance

Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis.

Carrying out risk assessments, issuing permits to work and supervising engineering contractors

Designing, building, and commissioning control system upgrades and plant improvement projects

Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations and portable appliances

Organising and supervising planned work

With experience working in a fast-paced environment you will be familiar with three phase equipment, inverters, and industrial machinery.

In addition, you'll need the following:

Hold previous experience working within a large site building, ideally within a manufacturing / industrial environment.

PLC and controls Knowledge

17th / 18th edition

Ideally have a strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, ideally with relevant qualifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH (Preferred)

Hours of Work are 7am 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 1pm Friday
