Job Description:

I'm recruiting for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join a busy high street legal practice in Ashton-under-Lyne. This role offers the chance to work alongside an experienced solicitor in a friendly and progressive firm.To be considered:The successful candidate must be computer literate and capable of working autonomously within a case management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to an experienced solicitor
  • Manage conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
  • Handle SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) submissions
  • Process Land Registry applications and correspondence
  • Utilize the case management system efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems

Requirements:

  • Substantial prior experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proficient in using computer systems and case management software
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing excellent service
