Role: Support Worker - Bank and Temp Roles
Pay rate: GBP16.00-GBP18.00 per hour
Location: Oldham
Prospero Health and Social Care have a range of children support work roles available within and around the Greater Manchester areas. The roles are supporting vulnerable children and young people in crisis.
Prospero are looking for staff with existing experience in this type of support, and are confident working from lone working environments to higher ratio settings. You will be helping children and young people through turbulent times in their lives, offering support while keeping them safe. You may be working with:
Self Harm
Challenging behaviour
Low mental health
Family complexities
Substance mis-use
The hours are flexible and you can work around your own timetable. The hours available for the roles include:
Day shift (12 hours)
Waking night shift (12 hours)
Criteria for these roles are:
Full right to work in the UK - no sponsorship or skilled visas.
Qualification in Children and Young People or Health and Social Care preferred.
Must have previous experience in a similar role with 1 year minimum UK experience.
Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to obtain a new one.
References covering the last 3 years of employment.
