Role: Science Technician Location: Greater Manchester Rate: £115 per day Type: Part time - temporary (3 days per week)
Eden Brown are in need of a science technician on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our science laboratories. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and setting up practical experiments for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.* Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring safe storage of chemicals and materials.* Assisting teaching staff with demonstrations and practical activities.* Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
About You:We're looking for someone who is:* Organised and detail-oriented, with a keen interest in science.* Knowledgeable about laboratory equipment and safety protocols (previous experience as a technician or relevant qualifications are a bonus!).* A team player, ready to support both staff and students.
A DBS is also needed for this role. If you do not have a current DBS Eden brow can apply on your behalf.
