Team Leader - Manufacturing - Ashton Under Lyne
Hours: Full time, permanent
Salary - Competitive
An opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturing Company running your own Production Department while working alongside the team within a busy light manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Leading, motivating and overseeing a team of production operatives.
- Stock management, forecasting and re-ordering.
- Supporting and training operatives and maintaining records.
- Driving standards, improving quality controls and meeting deadlines.
- Health & Safety departmental responsibility
- Operating and managing the maintenance of a range of machines.
Ideal skills/experience:
- Experience within a light manufacturing environment.
- Wood cutting/manufacturing experience ideal but not essential.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Highly organised with strong administration and communication skills.
- Interest in process improvement and increasing performance.
- Hardworking and motivated, happy to lead by example.
