Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Oldham. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum and involves both site and office-based work on projects across the North West. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery within the construction industry and must be proficient with JCT and D&B contract types. This role requires managing various commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost control, procurement, and contract administration are handled efficiently.
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
Proficiency in JCT and D&B contract administration
Strong cost control and financial management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Experience with procurement processes
Ability to manage and review subcontractor quotations and payments
Strong organisational and project management capabilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Up-to-date knowledge of construction legislation and methodologies
Certifications & Standards:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Valid driving licence
