History Teache

History teacher - Tameside - January start Prospero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Tameside who are seeking a full time History Teacher to work in their school. The role will start from January and will continue for 2 terms until July 2025. You will be required to teach history to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be required to deliver lessons that are engaging & that will challenge the classes. There is a large on site car park available. There are also reliable and regular public transport links close by. This role is ope to ECTs and fully qualified teachers, with QTS. General Information: Location: Oldham Position: KS3 & 4 History teacher Start date: January 2025 End date: July 2025 Minimum rate of pay: GBP162.31 Hours: 8 am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualified Teacher of History Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum Teacher of History, experienced to teach at key stage 3 & 4 Hold a valid & recognised teaching qualification You will need to have taught in K secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis , the role is open to ECT's and more experienced teachers. You will be required to commit to the role in it's entirety. Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided) To be eligible for this History teaching job with Prospero Teaching hold Right to Work in the UK. Possess an enhanced child barred list. DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide a minimum of two professional related references covering the last 2 years
