Science Teacher

Science Teacher - January start - Tameside We are specifically working with a secondary school in Tameside, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them teaching Science to key stage 3 & 4 from January, on an ongoing basis, for the spring & summer terms on a full-time basis. Please specify which Science is your specialism You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes. The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience, we pay from M1 to M6 (sometimes we can also pay through threshold if you have done so, depending on the role). Location Tameside Position Science Teacher Type of work full time Start date January 2025 Duration 2 terms End date - July 2025 Contract type Temporary Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day Hours 8:30 am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Degree educated with a good classification (2:2). PGCE and QTS Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference). Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided). Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided). Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).
