A Sheet Metal Worker is required for an aerospace manufacturing company based in the Dukinfield area.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing company who supply a broad range of customers across the globe, predominantly within the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for working with sheet metal, primarily light-gauge aluminium, hand-forming, profiling parts after forming, operating a rubber press and wheeling machine, and much more.
Duties include:
- Aerospace sheet metal forming and profiling
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working with thin gauge aluminium
- High precision work with tight tolerances
Prior experience in a similar sheet metal role is required.
This position is working days;
- 7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday - 36 hours per week)
- Overtime paid on Fridays and Saturdays
- The rate of pay is 17.07.
This role is on a permanent basis - with no agency period.
