Responsibilities will include line management and supervisory responsibility for 6 Social Workers and a Senior Practitioner. Tameside is on an improvement journey, and we are driving forward practice improvements across the service, with good progress being seen so far, so it is an exciting time to join the service. The role involves chairing meetings, including strategy meetings, personal and child supervision with Social Workers, staff development, risk identification and robust risk management, progressing children's permanency plans and ensuring robust and timely transition planning for young people.
