Job Title: 1:1 Mentor Role

Location: Tameside

Position: Temporary with the potential to become permanent

By working with Hays, you will be working with a dedicated consultant who will work to your requirements to find your next role. You will receive support throughout the whole interview process, from the initial application stage all the way through to starting the role and beyond. Your new role

You will be supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) 1:1 and in small groups. As a 1:1 support mentor, you will play a critical role in creating a positive learning environment and providing personalised care to individual students.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you should have some experience working with children with SEND or in an educational setting. You will be a nurturing and caring individual with an optimistic outlook. Some understanding of behaviour management and key de-escalation techniques is beneficial.
