Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student is encouraged to thrive. Working closely with the teaching team, you’ll provide essential support in both academic and behavioural management, ensuring students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
This agency role is full-time but still offers you the flexibility of working with an agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to create a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where students feel respected and supported.
- Assist in implementing positive behavior management strategies, using praise, rewards, and fair sanctions to encourage growth.
- Work as part of a dedicated team to share best practices and continually improve the learning experience for all students.
- Support the school community’s development by fostering mutual respect and inclusion.
- Uphold high standards of conduct and professionalism in everything you do.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with individuals who have severe learning difficulties is essential.
- Experience working 1-1 with SEND students is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young learners to reach their full potential.
