Production Operative, Aspatria
Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is entering a peak production period and is seeking temporary Production Operatives for ongoing support. Known for their excellent industry reputation and recognized locally as an employer of choice, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected company during a critical time.
As a Manufacturing Operative, you will work in a factory environment, playing a key role in the production process. Your main duties will include lifting and moving products, meeting set targets, and adhering to strict deadlines. This is a physically demanding role, so we are looking for candidates who are physically fit and capable of maintaining a fast-paced workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and moving products as part of the production process
- Assisting in making the product
- Meeting production targets within specified deadlines
- Following all health and safety regulations and operational procedures
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth production operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment
- Physically strong to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and operational processes effectively
Hours
- Monday- Thursday 7.30am -16.00pm, Friday 6.00am -13.00pm, the hours may go to a late shift.
- Pay rate: 12.27 per hour days plus shift allowance if working the back shift
