We're currently supporting an Atherstone-based business with the urgent need for a part-time Accounts Assistant to help ease pressure during a peak period. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility and variety in a finance support role.
Temporary Part-Time Accounts AssistantLocation: Atherstone (Office-Based)Days: 2-3 days per weekRate: Up to £15 per hourStart: ASAP | Duration: Ongoing - Support during a busy period
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties - such as deleting and cleaning up old lines in the system
- Posting purchase invoices accurately to specific cost centres
- Raising corresponding sales invoices
- Processing staff expenses and timesheets
- Assisting with end-of-week journal uploads (training provided if needed)
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in an accounts/finance support role
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to commit to 2-3 days per week in the office
