In this role you will be part of the Country Deployment team that will support the transformation of the global IT landscape of ALDI.

The role will form part of the CDMO (Cross Domain Management Office) team who are responsible for managing and deploying the overarching project governance and strategy in GB/IE across the below disciplines:

  • Cutover
  • Hypercare
  • Architecture and Integration
  • Data Migration / Data Quality
  • Test and Release Management

Working as part of the CDMO Team general duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide support to the CDMO team with project related activities across the various disciplines detailed above, primarily Cutover and Hypercare
  • Support with ensuring all Cutover and associated project management activities as part of AHEAD deployment are completed on time
  • Support with co-ordinating Hypercare, safeguarding the deployment with minimal disruption to the operational business, ensuring issues are prioritised accordingly and triaged to the correct resolver team
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, both internal and external, and will also support with the handover of AHEAD systems to business as usual activities
  • Reporting into the CDMO Managers, the candidate will need to collaborate and co-ordinate a variety of people with different skills sets at all levels of the AHEAD programme (across all Domains).  The position requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced but sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Due to the critical nature of the role, supporting cutover and hypercare in Regions as part of Go Live, working shift patterns and sometimes out of hours will be required across a number of weeks to ensure all incidents are prioritised and actioned accordingly, ensuring continued business operation
  • A role in the Cross Deployment Management Office (CDMO) Team is a great opportunity in helping to deliver the AHEAD project. You'll gain valuable experience working on a global transformation project and form relationships with GB/IE colleagues across all Domains and across the ALDI global network of countries

You’ll need to be working towards a 2:1 degree, have 96 UCAS points from your top 3 A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications), possess a driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.
