Temp to perm opportunityProgression plan into Office ManagerFlexible hours   We are actively seeking an experienced Office Administrator for a long-standing engineering business in the Atherstone area. Due to many of the engineers / maintenance staff working off-site, you will form part of a very small team; as such, the company is looking for somebody who is self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and organisation.You will be expected to start on the basis of a 3 / 4-day week; after a period of approx. 6 months, once fully trained, you will then assume the role of Office Manager. This is a wide-ranging role which covers many different aspects of business administration and support; some of the main duties include:
  • Processing staff wages (using Sage software)
  • Raising purchase and sales invoices
  • Consolidating VAT
  • Reconciling company bills
  • Filing business accounts (using Quickbooks software)
  • Dealing with general HR queries from staff
In return, you will receive hours of 0900am – 1500pm (negotiable if required) – exact working days TBC but open to discussions.Long term you will be required to work Monday to Friday, where you will settle into approx. 30-32 hours per week.Pay rate: £14.00 per hourAdditional benefits:-28 days + BH from day oneCorporate race days courtesy of the company Early Christmas closure (usually closed around 16th Dec – 6th Jan)To apply for the Office Administrator role, you must possess the following characteristics:
