This newly created role will work as part of a busy HR team, providing you the opportunity to gain a vast amount of HR generalist experience. The role will initially be site based 5 days a week. The role: 
  • Act as first point of contact for colleague queries
  • Work with the Head of HR to implement and drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Roll out employee communications and support in organising the colleague forum
  • Support colleagues in wellbeing initiatives and any occupational health referrals
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide support and note taking for ER issues / meetings.
The person:
  • CIPD level 3 or working towards CIPD Level 5
  • Previous experience of working within an HR / People function 
  • Knowledge of UK Employment law and its applications 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, comfortable working with Excel to generate daily reports 
  • You will be able to operate within a fast paced environment, be confident in communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and be confident in your decision making.
