We are supporting a leading food processor that is expanding at pace as they near record production levels. To compliment this growth they are seeking additional shift engineers to work on a 5on/5off days and nights rotation. Ideally you will have worked within a the food sector previously, but this is not essential. The business welcomes applications from engineers with either mechanical or electrical bias.Core duties include:
  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to support an upturn in OEE
  • Carry out maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime
  • Carry out engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely manner
  • Fully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategy to move from a reactive breakdown philosophy to proactive and preventative maintenance
  • To step change the performance and efficiency of the existing plant through continuous improvement techniques
  • Ensure workshop is kept to a good standard, clean and tidy
  • Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose
  • Complete Job reports/tickets each shift
