Sonic Summary

Hales Group is seeking a Production Technician for a client in Attleborough due to continued growth.
The role requires experience in a manufacturing assembly environment, specifically with machines, control panels, and PLCs.
Candidates should possess an HNC or apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and have a clean UK driving license.
The position offers a starting salary of £28,000 per annum and includes 25 days of annual leave plus medical insurance and a company pension.
Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Friday, totaling a 40-hour work week.

Due to continued growth, Hales Group are pleased to be working with a great client based in Attleborough. We are on the lookout for a Production Technician to join a welcoming and friendly team. This established company is small and has a full order book. They require a Production Technician that has experience within a manufacturing assembly environment with a working knowledge of machines, control panels and PLC’s. Training and development will form a fundamental part of this role, so if you are looking to enhance your skills with a great team of people, keep reading!Hours: 8.00 – 5.00 Monday – Thursday (1/2 hour unpaid break) and Friday 8.00 – 2.30 (1/2 hour unpaid break) = 40 hour week Salary: Starting salary £28,000 per annum Duties Include:

Mechanical and electrical assembly of Test Rig machines and sub-assemblies used within the aerospace industry.
Working from CAD drawings and work instructions.
Wiring of control panels and cabinets.
Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Work within the requirements of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
Promoting safety and continuous improvement within the production facility at all times.
Periodic travel to customers for onsite service and support.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

HNC or apprenticeship in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
Experience in a manufacturing environment of machine assembly and testing.
Ability to understand CAD drawings and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail.
Good understanding of electrical and pneumatic system assembly.
Knowledge and safe operation of workshop machinery including Lathe, Milling Machine, Pedestal Drill, Press and hand tools.
Computer literacy, maintaining records and following procedures.
Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
Clean UK driving license
