Justteachers are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Attleborough. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students and delivering high-quality lessons in Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic development and success of the students within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Support extracurricular activities and school events, where appropriate.
- Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Two school based references.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Geography.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting student welfare and academic success.
- Right to work in the UK.
