HGV Technician needed
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client, a family run business in the Commercial Vehicle Repair sector, is seeking for a HGV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing routine maintenance inspections, servicing, general repairs right up to in-depth diagnosis, gearbox, engine replacements.
Role: HGV Technician
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Mon to Fri: 8am to 5pm, no Saturdays
Location: Attleborough
Key responsibilities of HGV Technician:
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to the manufacturer’s procedures, safely and responsibly
- Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with company's Standard Times
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty material on completion of each repair
- Assist with Action Service Europe when required
- Work with the Parts Team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV licence)
Requirements for HGV Technician:
- City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is Preferred
- Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs
- Practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives
- Safety awareness and be committed to a right first-time ethos
- A flexible and can-do attitude with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own initiative
- HGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferred
- Experience with Tail lifts is desirable
