An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's award-winning, multi-disciplinary, family-owned construction company. This role will see you become a vital member of the commercial team, supporting Directors, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors in the commercial management of a diverse portfolio of contracts.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying, ideally with experience in the civils or construction sector. The role demands a commercially minded professional, capable of managing multiple contracts in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues at all levels are essential.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in quantity surveying or a related field.
  • Experienced in working within a quantity surveying team.
  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word, with experience in estimating software beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Measuring and valuing works.
  • Managing commercial aspects of applications, change control, and final accounts.
  • Commercial management of sub-contractors.
  • Conducting cost and value analysis.
