Schedule: Normal Working hours are weekly rotating shifts as follows:-
Shift 1
Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 10:00, 10:20 – 13:45
Friday 06:00 – 10:00, 10:20 – 12:25
Shift 2
Monday to Thursday 13:40 – 17:30, 17:50 – 21:25
Friday 12:20 – 16:00, 16:20 – 18:45
Based In southport, our client Creating high quality precision products for the glass container manufacturing industry. They have an unrivalled knowledge and experience in the design and manufacture of both standard and bespoke IS variable equipment, supplying mechanisms and components to plants in all parts of the world.
Job description.
The role of CNC Turner, programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
- Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Mazatrol controls.
- Experience with CAD/CAM would be beneficial.
- Program jobs with 2 axis lathes
- Load machine with Vices / Fixture
- Load the tooling with correct offsets.
- Upload programs
- Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Mazak lathes using Mazatrol controls.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor. - Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
- Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
- Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
- Professional and self-motivated attitude.
- Good organisational & time management skills.
