Quality Engineer - East Kilbride, Scotland
About Us: Join a leading manufacturer in East Kilbride, Scotland. Our client, known for precision products, is expanding and seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to enhance their Quality Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce quality standards.
- Support and maintain QMS and ISO requirements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations.
- Address and resolve quality issues with operations managers.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality.
Requirements:
- HNC in Quality or Process Engineering (desirable).
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Environmental and H&S legislation.
- Expertise in ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and continuous improvement methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and IT proficiency.

- 4-day work week (Mon-Thurs, 37.5hrs)
